This page is about my own bike, purchased in September 2001 in a nasty yellow & with the wrong size front tyre (110/90/16). I bought this bike as a replacement for my Suzuki 7-11 which I trashed big time in May 2001 after 7 years of faithfull service ( I still miss her!) Due to the nature of my injuries I found it difficult to ride the bike & initially put the bad handling down to the front tyre & only rode it for five short rides. The first part of the problem I found when the main fuse melted, while hunting for the main fuse I found the rear suspension adjuster on the left hand side of the bike & it was on it's softest setting. Stiffening this made a big improvement though still not right.

When I got it home I decided that I ought to check everything, thats when I discovered that the tyre pressures were 18psi at the rear & 12psi at the front. That explained most of the problems so I then replaced both front & rear tyres (correct sizes) with a Bridgestone BT45 front & a BT39 rear. What a transformation, suddenly the bike handles like it's supposed to & on the first ride after the adjustments I managed to scrape the right fairing lower on the tarmac.I'm happy now. I'm due to go in hospital for another op on my left leg next week (Oct 28-02) & hopefully that will sort out my legs once & for all. Also in this year I have painted the bike in NC30 Colours & removed the unbranded NC30 Can to be replaced with NC24 ART can.
