This power run was done at Powerhouse M/cycles on their new dyno on 6 March 1999. The blue line (run 3) is a 4th gear roll-on showing 92.3bhp at the rear wheel and the red line (run 5) is a run through the gears showing 95.4bhp at the rear wheel. The drop off on each gear means the bike is running rich, so I'll sort that out and do another run soon.

Meet Jack testing my bike

Well, I gave up trying to do it myself & gave to the expert at Ashford Powerhouse M/C's. Despite the carbs being worn by the 51,000 miles they have had to cope with, Jack managed to sort them out. It now shows 96.4bhp, an improvement of 4.1bhp on a fourth gear roll on & an overall Max Power of 97.5bhp, an increase of 2.1bhp.(see graph below)

So a big hand to Jack at POWERHOUSE for making me a happy man. It is now well responsive & pulls like a train, alright, it's no R1 but it has given it a new lease of life & renewed the joys of scratching. One other thing that has put a childish grin on my face is the knowledge that a GSXR750M with Micron race can really strains it self trying to keep up as I found out recently.
